“Watch Thirumalai Movie Online directed by Ramana.”
Starting Vijay and Jyothika in main characters, the movie is basically yet another poor guy-rich gal love story.
A young poor bike mechanic Thirumalai (Vijay) falls in love with Shweta (Jyothika) the daughter of a rich TV channel owner (Ashwin).
The
bad people in Thirumalai are Shweta's father and the thug he hires Arasu (Manoj K.Jayan) to break up their
love affair. Vijay has demonstrated time and again that he can act. But the
young lass Jyothika is a different story. With her wooden look and all, it's a
mystery how this buxom lady made it into movies. She's plain fearful in
Thirumalai. Also, there's very small matter between the lead pair on the
screen.
Vivek's so-called funniness shots
about a young always landing in difficulty vis-a-vis his job interviews are perfectly
juvenile and mar
the smooth flow of the movie.
Raghuvaran - who counts among the elite
skillful actors in Tamil movies - is as always a treat to watch and one of the
few saving graces of this movie as is Vijay's presentation. Unfortunately,
Raghuvaran has a limited role in Thirumalai.
Vidyasagar's music is not bad but does not
rise to great heights either. Neeya
Pesiyadhu Anbe song has been shot against the backdrop of the Pyramids in
Egypt but was still not gripping enough.
